My true photography career began in athletics. I was looking for a way to complete my required volunteer hours through my university and stumbled across the Liberty Champion Newspaper. I joke that I walked in, showed them a photo of a pinecone and a cute dog, and somehow, they offered me a part-time job, handing me over $5,000 worth of equipment and saying, “Go shoot college sports.” What started as the most stressful and terrifying first week of my life (I cried twice) quickly became one of the greatest opportunities I’ve ever been given.

Since then, photography has taken me to sidelines, arenas, mountains, concerts, and places I never expected to go. Somewhere in between the late nights, travel, and countless shoots, I realized that what I really love isn't just taking photos but telling the stories behind them.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me rock climbing, running, hiking, or dreaming up the next big thing in my life (this includes anything from getting a fish tank or spending 3 months in Europe).

I studied strategic marketing in college, which means I spend a lot of time thinking about why images matter just as much as how they look. I love the intersection of creativity and strategy.
